Translation Service Myccigroup

Translation Services

With a vast network of language experts, CCI Group utilizes highly qualified, native-speaking translators and editors which enables us to deliver clear, precise, and culturally relevant translations.

Most of our translators hold advanced degrees in different disciplines and are certified by the American Translators Association (ATA). They translate into their native language so they have a greater understanding of the culture and the intricacies and terminology of an industry or discipline.

Audio Transcription/ Translation – Recorded interviews, statements, legal evidence (body wires, surveillance, telephone recorded interventions, detention statements) and much more. CCI Group provides high-quality and accurate transcription services of audio and video files. Your source material will be transcribed by a native speaker of the source material. Once it is transcribed, one of our expert translators takes over to ensure accuracy on the final product. We can work with all types of files such as CD, DVD, tape, videocassette, MP3, AVI, mpeg, or wav file.

Sign Language Services

Just as with spoken languages, American Sign Language interpreting is a complex process that involves grammatical restructuring and cultural mediation. The major difference between ASL interpreting and spoken language interpreting is the guarantee of equal access afforded by the Americans with Disabilities Act. The ADA clearly states that individuals have a right to effective communication in both government-related (title II) and private or public businesses (title III).
We provide services to enhance the accessibility and availability of the spoken and written word by those who are visually and/or hearing impaired. Sign Language Services include:
  1. ASL/English
  2. Manually Coded English
  3. Pidgin Signed English (PSE)
  4. Contact Sign
  5. Deaf Interpreting
  6. Cued English Transliteration
  7. COMING SOON: Closed Captioning and Voice-overs

Phone Interpretation

Over-the-Phone Interpretation is an ideal solution for On-Demand access to professional interpreters in over 200 languages 24/7 from any phone. This is a real-time service, where you connect on a three-way conference call with the interpreter, yourself and the party you are calling.

Over-the-phone services are ideal when a professional in-person interpreter is not available. It eliminates the risk of miscommunication and liability concerns should an inaccurate interpretation take place. We recommend it for:

  • Short assignments. (No 2-hr min. fees)
  • Last minute requests. (Most interpreters ready within 48 seconds of placing the call)
  • Rare languages. (Over 200 languages)
  • Remote/Rural areas (No travel time, no mileage)
  • Budget constraints. (You pay per minute, not per hour)

Video Remote Interpretation

When in-person, on-site interpreting services are not immediately available, technology now provides for an interim solution in the form of off-site interpreting services, called Video Remote Interpreting (VRI). VRI works by using videoconferencing technology and equipment to provide the services of a qualified interpreter to people at a different location. For Sign Language interpretation, for example, the interpreter can hear the spoken communication from the service provider (doctor, teacher, etc.), and interprets the message into a signed language for the Deaf or Hard of Hearing client to understand. Likewise, the interpreter takes in the signed message from the client and verbally expresses it to the hearing party in order to facilitate effective, two-way communication.

VRI is typically used when a live, in-person interpreter is not available or not needed. This is especially useful in rural areas where high-quality interpreters are not readily available, or in situations that require quick, straightforward response. Please note that there are some situations in which a remote interpreter is NOT an appropriate choice, such as mental health group sessions and situations in which the clients are not stationary.

CCI Group is committed to ensuring the best possible fit for services for your unique circumstances, and we will work with you to make a determination on the effectiveness of VRI vs. an in-person interpreter.
